Breakthrough artist and BRIT Award-nominated artist Anne-Mariecontinues (pictured) to throw out great pop singles and collaborations, her latest being the track “2002,” which she co-wrote with fellow singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran. An acoustic performance of the song has already hit 12 million plays on Spotify, even though the tune has barely surfaced on audio media; Anne-Marie’s previous single, “Friends” with Marshmello, has already been certified gold. Anne-Marie is currently on tour with Sheeran as his opening act on his North American dates, and she’ll also be taking the stage for a solo gig on Good Morning America on September 3…
Cardi B opened the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards this past weekend, in her first performance since welcoming daughter Kulture Kiari with husband and rapper Offsetin July. Additional performers at the big MTV event included (prepare yourselves, it’s a long list) Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendes, Travis Scott and Post Malone, Logic with special guest Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic, and Jennifer Lopez, who gave a special performance to mark her receipt of the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award…
Speaking of Cardi B, she dropped out of Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic World Tour that’s kicking off this month, which left Mars scrambling to find a replacement opening act. He’s snagged several special guests to fill that spot, namely Boyz II Men, Ciara, Ella Mai, and Charlie Wilson, who will take turns on different show dates through Mars’ trek. Mars will be making nearby stops in St. Paul, Minnesota (September 11-12) and Toronto (September 22-23), with two dedicated Detroit shows coming up on September 15-16, with opening act Charlie Wilson on deck for those dates…
The rockumentary of the final night of Bruce Springsteen’s sold out 236-show run at the Walter Kerr Theater on Broadway – simply called "Springsteen on Broadway" – will hit Netflix on December 15 for all those fans of Bruuuuuce to enjoy. The movie, which works to pull the video-viewing audience into an immersive live concert experience through big camera angles and over-the-top sound, will also mark the closing of Springsteen’s run at that same theater…
