Instructs personal training group or one-on-one sessions in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that promotes member wellness and engagement in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures. On a day-to-day basis, this position will carry out various tasks from assessing the member’s physical condition to instructing safe and effective exercises that will assist in attaining the member’s fitness goal(s). This position will explain the exercises in a clear and efficient way, while demonstrating how to use the equipment safely, to avoid injuries.
