Enjoy a Grand Traverse Chapter, North Country Trail Association monthly program given by Mark Boersen, senior wildlife specialist for the MDNR. Mark will discuss the status of black bears in Michigan & North America, black bear biology, living with black bears, avoiding problem behaviors that attract bears, deterrents, & other tools to scare bears away.
