The League of Women Voters-Grand Traverse Area (LWVGTA) will present a program focused on understanding how microplastics are impacting our environment. NMC Biology instructor Dr. Nick Roster will discuss how his biology students have spent a year surveying the environment in Grand Traverse County & beyond in search of how microplastics have invaded our environment. He will be joined by some of his students who have participated in the research project.
