It's all about the culture of wine at ŌBrien Vineyards in Traverse City, where Old World inspired flavors collide with northern Michigan’s growing climate. With the dog days of summer in full swing, we’re emulating coastal Portugal, and with it, the heat-beating effervescence of a traditional Vinho Verde wine. Made in the Metodo Classico style—which is also how champagne is produced—ŌBrien’s Verde is a fruity blend of Gewurztraminer, Riesling, and Pinot Gris (all grown on the Old Mission Peninsula). Pair a glass with a tapas spread and allow yourself to be transported by each sip’s wash of refreshing bubbles and notes of juicy melon and pear. Euro-vacation, here we come!
